“The author’s use of language, imagery and dialogic is apt and suggestive of someone with a fertile imagination. She explores the nuances of teenage life captivatingly with its attendant rivalry, petty jealousy, mischief, emotion, friendships, parties and junk food.  Stephanie Oyinki parallels Stephen King in her portrayal of horror, she is thus one emerging writer who holds a lot of promise.
